Zulitums has admitted that he feels disappointed in himself for not yet building his mother a house and moving her out of Kamwokya, where she currently lives.
Speaking about some of the things he is not proud of in his life, the singer revealed that providing his mother with a better home remains one of the goals he has yet to achieve.
“I feel I have let myself down a bit, but I’m still hopeful,” Zulitums said.
The singer explained that his desire to reward his mother stems from the role she played in raising him after his parents separated when he was still young.
According to Zulitums, his father left the family when he was seven years old, leaving him to grow up largely under his mother’s care.
“They separated with my mother, so you’d say for the most part I have grown up with my mum,” he explained.
Having spent most of his childhood with his mother, Zulitums said he recognises the importance of giving back to her and ensuring she enjoys a better life.
Although he is yet to fulfil his dream of building her a house, the singer remains hopeful that he will eventually achieve the goal and give his mother the reward he believes she deserves.
