Speaking during a YouTube podcast, the singer said she had always wanted to fly planes and would consistently write down her ambition whenever students were asked about their dream careers at school.

“It’s what I knew and wanted, but I don’t know how I ended up doing music. But I wanted to be a pilot,” Ava Peace said.

Despite taking a different career path, the singer has also pursued her education, earning a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from university.

Ava Peace believes that the knowledge she acquired through her studies continues to play a role in her music career, particularly through her interactions with people and the messages she shares with her audience.

According to the singer, music has given her a platform to engage with communities and use her influence to encourage young people to make the most of their education.

“It’s more community work, and it’s more of speaking to people, so I talk to them through music,” she explained.

Ava Peace added that she often takes breaks during her performances to offer advice to students, encouraging both girls and boys to remain in school and utilise the educational opportunities available to them.

“I take breaks during my performances to advise girls and boys in schools to stay there and utilise the opportunity,” she said.
