Film enthusiasts in Kampala will have an opportunity to combine a movie screening with a social evening on Friday, October 30, as Kwiso Movie Nights returns in partnership with V&A Sherry at Reach a Hand Africa headquarters in Lungujja.
Themed Cinema & Cocktails, the event will feature a screening of The Unforgivable, bringing audiences together for an evening of film, cocktails and conversation.
The partnership forms part of V&A Sherry’s Yours to Share platform, which focuses on shared social experiences. It also reflects the growing intersection between entertainment, hospitality and brand-led cultural experiences, as companies seek to engage audiences beyond traditional advertising.
V&A Sherry Brand Manager Angella Mpayenda said the collaboration was intended to support creative platforms that provide audiences with opportunities to engage with film and storytelling.
“Uganda has a wealth of creative talent and stories worth celebrating. Through our partnership with Kwiso Movie Nights, we are supporting platforms that bring people together through creativity while giving audiences new ways to experience and appreciate film. At V&A, we believe the best moments are Yours to Share, and this Friday will be another opportunity for our consumers to connect and share moments,” Mpayenda said.
The screening will combine the film experience with cocktails and an opportunity for attendees to socialise, positioning the event as both a cinema outing and a shared leisure experience.
