Singer Fyno UG has opened up about his recent arrest, revealing that it was linked to a disagreement with a promoter over his late arrival at a scheduled performance.
According to Fyno, he arrived late for a show, which upset the promoter because he was unable to perform as planned. However, he explained that the arrest did not happen on the same day, but during a rescheduled event when police were called after another disagreement.
“When I reached, police bundled me up and locked me at Kyengera Police Station, but it’s all sorted now,” Fyno said.
The singer said the matter has since been resolved, with both parties reaching an understanding after police intervention.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire confirmed Fyno’s arrest, saying it happened last Sunday.
He added that the complainant and the musician settled the matter through mediation, after which Fyno was granted a police bond.
