Singer Kapa Cat has criticized the current generation of artists, saying the music industry has become less exciting because many performers are avoiding healthy competition.
Speaking during an interview on Galaxy TV, Kapa Cat said music battles played an important role in keeping the entertainment scene vibrant by pushing artists to showcase their talent while creating more excitement for fans.
“The industry is boring and dull. There are some female artists I approach and suggest that we do a musical battle, but they keep telling me that they fear,” Kapa Cat said.
The rapper revealed that she once approached fellow singer Karole Kasita for a musical battle, but her proposal was turned down.
Kapa Cat insisted that she is open to competing with any artist as long as the battle remains focused on music and entertainment rather than personal attacks.
“As long as the battles are healthy, I can battle anyone because I’m musical and an entertainer. Whether a female or male, as long as the battle is musical and nothing else,” she added.
She argued that friendly competitions between artists can help revive the industry by encouraging creativity, improving performances, and giving fans memorable moments.
